What free actually means
Four things “free beta” usually hides.
None of them apply here.
Nothing is gated
There is no paid tier to upgrade to, so nothing is held back to create one. Broker sync, enrichment, all nine detectors, the coach and the playbook are the same product for everyone in the beta.
No card, no auto-charge
We never collect payment details during beta, so there is nothing that can quietly start billing you at the end of it.
No trial clock
It is not fourteen days. The beta runs until we close it, and we will tell you before anything changes.
Nothing to cancel
The broker connection is read-only and you can disconnect it whenever you want. Your trade history exports as a PDF report over any date range.
Time to first insight
Ten minutes from signup
to knowing your worst habit.
There is no setup project here. You do two things; the product does the rest.
Connect or drop a file
Link a broker read-only through SnapTrade, or upload a Thinkorswim, Webull, IBKR or Schwab CSV. The format is detected for you.
Your history backfills
Not just today onward — your past fills come in, deduplicated, with multi-leg and partial fills reconciled and each account kept separate.
Every fill gets tagged and enriched
Setup, market regime, session window, the technicals and news that were live, and the greeks on any contract.
Pulse tells you the worst thing you do
Realized P&L, the ranked list of what is working against you, and the single change to make next.
Import one month. That’s the whole test.
If a month of your own fills doesn’t show you something you didn’t know, close the tab. It cost you nothing.

Prices as published by each vendor, August 2026, across their paid tiers; annual figures are list monthly × 12 and ignore any annual discount. Listed for context, not as a like-for-like feature comparison — several of these do things Trade Planner does not, and none of them are simulators either.
Questions traders actually ask
Is this a simulator or paper-trading platform?
No. Trade Planner reads the trades you actually took. There is no simulation, no paper account and no backtester — it is a journal and an analysis layer on top of your real fills.
Can Trade Planner place trades?
Never. The broker connection is read-only: it can pull activity and holdings and nothing else. There is no order path anywhere in the product.
Which brokers work today?
30+ institutions through SnapTrade, plus CSV exports from Thinkorswim, Webull, Interactive Brokers and Schwab. The format is detected for you, historical fills are backfilled, and re-imports are deduplicated.
Do I have to tag my trades?
No. Each fill is classified against 36 canonical setups using the market data at your entry — the gap, prior-day breaks, where price sat in its 20-day range, trend against SMA20/50, RSI and recent momentum. Low-confidence trades are flagged for review rather than silently mislabelled, and your correction becomes part of your own setup vocabulary.
How does it handle options?
Positions roll up by underlying, so a four-leg spread reads as one trade instead of four. Greeks, implied volatility, break-even and open interest are captured per contract, open positions carry a decay warning and a payoff curve, and realized P&L accounts for expirations and assignments.
Where do the AI’s numbers come from?
Our code, not the model. Every figure is computed deterministically and the model receives pre-verified facts it may only explain. Each claim names the trades behind it, so you can check any number in two clicks.
What happens when the beta ends?
You will hear from us first. Beta traders keep beta pricing on the tier that matches what they were using, and nothing you have already imported goes away or gets locked behind a paywall.
Can I buy Pro or Elite now?
No. Both are announced, not purchasable — and everything in them that exists today is already included free in the beta. The buttons above are deliberately dead rather than misleading.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. A PDF trade report over any date range, from the Analytics screen. Disconnecting a broker stops the sync and leaves your existing history intact.
Is this financial advice?
No. Trade Planner is educational only. It never recommends what to buy or sell, and trading carries substantial risk of loss.
The only thing it costs you
is finding out.
Free while the beta is open. Read-only, so nothing in your account can move. Every number on your screen computed from your own fills.
Trade Planner is educational only and never places, modifies or routes an order. It is not a broker, not a signals service and not financial advice. Trading carries substantial risk of loss.
