5. Cookies, Tracking, and Advertising

5.1 Cookies We Use

  • Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and core functionality.

  • Advertising Cookies: Used by Google AdSense and its partners to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the Service. Google and its certified ad networks may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites on the Internet.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

5.3 Do Not Track

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Firebase Authentication for secure identity management.
  • Server-side API key management — sensitive credentials are never exposed to the client.
  • Firestore security rules that isolate user data so you can only access your own records.
  • SnapTrade's secure, tokenized brokerage connections — we never see or store your brokerage passwords.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and trade data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or regulatory purposes.
